The injury caused by George Harrison’s harsh statement about Oasis is still being felt by Liam Gallagher

It appears that Liam Gallagher, a member of Oasis, is still feeling the pain caused by George Harrison’s statement regarding the band. The singer responded to a fan’s inquiry regarding the incident by posting a message on X. “I wonder if what George said hurt him (and Noel being the best big brother),” the user added. “I mean, Noel is the best big brother.”

“The pain is still present,” Liam responded. When another fan inquired about the most significant error that Oasis had ever committed, the singer reacted by saying, “We didn’t make any, we f*cking smashed it.” In an interview that took place in 1997, Harrison expressed his opinions of Oasis. He stated that the band was “not very interesting” and questioned whether other successful acts such as U2 and the Spice Girls would be remembered in thirty years. “They have the advantage that you look at them and cut off the sound,” he said. “This is the advantage they have.”

The previous year, in 1996, Harrison had discussed Oasis and indicated that the band would be better off without Liam. He had reached this conclusion. When you think about it, he is a little bit out of date. To put it simply, he is a little, and he is plain foolish. The fact that Harrison felt sorry for Gallagher and believed that he had “missed the bus” was another thing that he mentioned. Harrison claims that Oasis gave a greater performance when Liam was not present, referring to him as “excess baggage.”

Harrison’s comment was met with a response from Liam, who stated, “If that is his personal opinion, then fair enough.” To this day, I adore the Beatles. As a member of the Beatles, George Harrison is still one of my favorite songwriters. Nevertheless, I consider him to be a f*cking nipple as a human.

Harrison once again chastised Liam, referring to him as “pain” to the band, in the French documentary “Derrière le Miroir,” which was released in 1997. On the other hand, Harrison praised Noel Gallagher for his songwriting. It is Noel who is responsible for writing the songs. He is doing fine. However, they do not possess a great deal of depth. The other guy is nothing but a source of discomfort. There is no reason for them to have him. It is true that the person who composes the songs is also capable of singing them, as you are aware. Possibly due to the fact that it is his brother, he finds it necessary to maintain him in the band.

Noel defended Liam when he was asked to remark on the words that Harrison had said. Due to the fact that George Harrison is not acquainted with Liam, he has never had the opportunity to meet him. It is reasonable to assume that you would not like him if he had never met Liam and had only learned about him from the newspapers. You shouldn’t make remarks like that before you have had the opportunity to get to know him. On the other hand, George, we all love you,” he continued.

During their live performances, Oasis continued to occasionally cover songs by the Beatles, even after the tension had subsided. I Am The Walrus was included on the band’s live album titled “Knebworth 1996” in 1996, and “Helter Skelter” was included on the band’s live album titled “Familiar to Millions” in 2000. Both of these albums were recorded at Wembley Stadium.
