It has only been a week since Nicko McBrain made the choice to leave the band, and the new concert has officially begun. Following a career spanning 42 years, Nicko McBrain made the announcement on December 7 that he will be retiring from significant touring. In a message that was published on the official X account of Iron Maiden, McBrain stated that his last performance with the band will take place on that particular night in São Paulo, Brazil.

The drummer issued a statement in which he officially announced his departure from Iron Maiden. He stated that he had reached his choice “after much consideration,” but that he will continue to be a member of the Iron Maiden family. Rocker expressed gratitude to his family, friends, and fans for their support.

During Dickinson’s solo tour, further shows are anticipated to be announced in the near future. In the month of April this year, Dickinson performed his first solo act in twenty-two years. The last-minute’secret’ shows were held on April 12 and April 13 as a warm-up for his tour in support of his most recent record, which is titled ‘The Mandrake Project.’ The concert that marked the conclusion of Iron Maiden’s The Future Past World Tour 2024 took place on December 7 at Allianz Parque in São Paulo for the Brazilian band.
