Ozzy Osbourne Details ‘Heartbreaking’ Reason He Won’t Perform Live Again

Ozzy Osbourne told The News why he won’t perform again. I went to the doctor, and you believe everyone knows what they’re doing. My son Jack has a video of me saying, ‘I’ll see you in a few minutes,’ before surgery. After his 2019 fall-related spine surgery, the singer revealed, “I haven’t walked properly since.”

Ozzy said his handicap is typically attributed to Parkinson’s, but he blames the surgery. The musician said, “When I came off the quad bike in 2003, I still did tours and I had Parkinson’s. It was THAT surgery.” Osbourne has had seven surgeries in five years and fought Parkinson’s disease since 2003. Ozzy was wheelchair-bound in Santa Monica last month with his wife Sharon nearby. He was feeble and supported by two buddies, wrapping his knees in a blanket.

With his tattooed arms, gold jewelry, and long black hair, Ozzy was unmistakable in a face mask, black T-shirt, and sweatpants. This film was released over a year after he refused to perform in a wheelchair. To Rolling Stone, he said he wouldn’t perform when weak.

“I’m not going to do a half-hearted Ozzy looking for sympathy,” he said. What’s the point? I won’t ascend in a wheelchair. I saw Phil Collins perform recently, and he had similar issues. He rises in a wheelchair! But I couldn’t.”

Sharon, Jack, and Kelly, Ozzy’s family, attended the Son of Monsterpalooza horror film conference on October 12-13 for a rare autograph signing and photo. The Marriott Burbank Convention Center in Burbank hosted the event.
