Mike Shinoda has confirmed that the previous chapter in Linkin Park’s relationship with Chester Bennington has come to an end

Mike Shinoda and Jack Saunders, hosts of the New Music Show on BBC Radio 1, recently had an interview in which they discussed the specifics of the album as well as their new chapter and relationship with Emily Armstrong. According to him, the album would be released around the second week of November. In addition, I have high hopes that when people hear it, they will fully comprehend that this is not intended to be a remake or a rewrite of Linkin Park. The intent is for this to be the beginning of the next chapter in Linkin Park. For example, the previous chapter was a fantastic chapter, and we adore the chapter that came before it. As a result, that was successful.”

He detailed the difficulties that the band had encountered ever since they had hired a new singer. ‘Okay, if you start from fresh with another voice, what do you do?’ was the dilemma that we were confronted with at this point. Emily’s voice, for example, when she sings the thing, man, it’s like the passion that she has for it… There is no other person quite like her. She is not attempting to be Chester, and she is not attempting to be anyone else. This is the most wonderful aspect of the situation. It’s because she is who she is that it’s successful.

Armstrong has not only been subjected to criticism from fans ever since she joined the band, but she has also been subjected to criticism from the late singer’s mother and son. When the late leader of Linkin Park passed away, Shinoda had no intention of bringing the band back together. However, Jaime Bennington believes that Shinoda secretly managed the band for a number of years while he was hiding his identity.

According to Mike Shinoda, the band is not his band. According to him, “Fort Minor, ‘The Rising Tied,’ and ‘Post Traumatic’ are all examples of solo projects that Mike has performed.” “I have asserted in a hostile manner that ‘Post Traumatic’ is in fact an album by Linkin Park, and that they have never quit Linkin Park; they have simply been working secretly for a number of years, experimenting with their process and on their audience by employing techniques that I consider to be grooming techniques. I have discussed this topic in great detail in my highlights for the ‘Post Traumatic’ and ‘Euphoria’ posts on my Instagram account, as well as in my live streams on YouTube.

Since Linkin Park made the decision to continue touring and creating new music with their new singer Emily Armstrong, Jaime has made a number of assertions regarding Mike Shinoda and the band. He asserted that Shinoda made an attempt to make his father’s past disappear from the band’s history “during the month of international suicide prevention.” Later on, Shinoda gave a show in which he made a subtle response to the comments. He remarked, “It is not about erasing the past; it is about beginning this new chapter into the future, and coming out here for each and every one of you.” He was referring to the people who were present.

There was a live-streamed private gig that Emily Armstrong participated in three weeks ago, and it was her debut performance with the band. Fans had a variety of reactions to Armstrong’s performance, but rockers, including Bennington’s wife Talinda Bennington, were mostly supportive in their comments.

A new song by Linkin Park titled “Heavy Is The Crown” was just recently published, and many believe that it features a sound that is similar to the band’s earlier work.
