‘From Zero’ by Linkin Park was selected as the album of the year for 2024
“From Zero,” the comeback album that Linkin Park released in 2024, was selected as the album of the year by Revolver. Emily Armstrong and Mike Shinoda had a talk in the special collector’s issue of the magazine that was produced in honor of the album. The issue featured rare images, a personal essay on the band’s comeback, and conversation between the two of them.
Aside from this new celebration, the band also achieved their fourth number one album in the United Kingdom with the release of ‘From Zero.’ Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Short N’ Sweet’ was the band’s closest opponent, however the band’s eighth studio album sold more copies than that album. ‘Meteora,’ ‘Minutes to Midnight,’ and ‘Living Things’ were the three songs that initially propelled Linkin Park to the top of the charts in the United Kingdom.
After selling more than 1.8 million copies, Linkin Park’s debut album, titled “Hybrid Theory,” which was released in the year 2000, is the band’s best-selling album in the United Kingdom. However, it only managed to reach number four on the album chart. “Papercuts” is currently ranked number 17 on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, while “From Zero” once again topped the chart this week.
Additionally, the rockers provided a performance at the 2024 Billboard Awards not too long ago. In addition, Coldplay, Fuerza Regida, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, Teddy Swims, Tyla, Seventeen, Shaboozey, and Stray Kids were among the artists who performed at the Billboard Music Awards. Both the award for Top Rock Duo/Group and the prize for Top Hard Rock Artist went to Linkin Park, who got five nominations for the awards.
