Serj Tankian Identifies the Most Terrifying Metal Band System That Has Ever Been Used For A Down

Ahead of the release of his upcoming extended play (EP) titled “Foundations,” Serj Tankian gave an interview to Revolver magazine in which he discussed his career, both as a solo artist and with System of a Down.

In response to the question of which band would be the most difficult to open for, he disclosed, “Slayer, without a doubt.” With Slayer, there is no one on the earth who is as terrifying to open for. During the time when we were opening for them, their enthusiasts were giving us the death sign.

System of a Down went on tour with Slayer in 1998, which coincided with the release of their debut album, which was titled after themselves.
