Time of announcement for Oasis’s tour dates in the United States

Oasis has disclosed the moment at which they will announce all of the gigs that will be a part of their reunion tour in the United States and Canada in the year 2025. The list of locations in North America, Asia, Australia, and South America that the Britpop superstars will be playing as part of their 2025 comeback was released by NME on Thursday. These cities are in addition to the dates that were first confirmed for the United Kingdom and Ireland.

“MONDAY 8AM ET #OasisLive25” is the description that has been added to four images that have been shared on the official X account of the band. These photographs depict the band performing on billboards in various cities around North America.

There is currently no additional information that has been released on the dates of the shows. On December 20, 2008, Oasis performed their final gig in North America at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia. This performance was scheduled as part of their tour to promote their seventh studio album, titled “Dig Out Your Soul,” which is also their most current studio album to date.

Some fans experienced long lines and technological difficulties with the sale of tickets for the events in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and some tickets were sold at inflated costs due to “dynamic” surge pricing. The selling of these tickets proved to be a contentious affair.

By announcing two additional Wembley Stadium dates, which were sold in staggered batches through an invite-only poll, Oasis offered “a small step towards making amends for the situation” as a response to the crisis. It was also said by the band that they “had no prior knowledge that dynamic pricing was going to be utilized at any point in time.”

“It is imperative that it be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management,” they said in a statement. “At no point in time did they have any knowledge that dynamic pricing was going to be utilized.”

An investigation into the practice of dynamic pricing has been initiated by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) since then.

In addition to Liam and Noel Gallagher, there is a great deal of speculation regarding the members of Oasis that will be included in the restored lineup. The original guitarist, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, is rumored to be involved, and other members, such as guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell, are also rumored to be involved. Additionally, drummer Alan White has been the subject of rumors on his social media platforms; nevertheless, NME is under the impression that he will not be a part of the lineup. Since then, Liam has dropped hints that the lineup might include “a few new faces.”

Ahead of the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois boxing contest that took place at Wembley Stadium last weekend, Liam performed Oasis classics. After that, he responded to “SHITC**T” detractors who had complained online about the sound of his voice. This was a continuation of his successful headline set at Reading 2024. After that, he said his goodbyes to his band as he performed his final solo gig in Malta, which was planned to be.
