There will be new documentaries on Hulu called “Into the Void” that will investigate the history of heavy metal
Heavy metal in the year 2025 will be the subject of an eight-part documentary series that will be produced by the same people who were responsible for Dark Side of the Ring. A series that is now being developed for Hulu is being given the working title “Into the Void,” which is a reference to Black Sabbath. However, certain aspects are still being kept under wraps right now.
This past week, Deadline made the announcement regarding the series. They stated that Vice Studios Canada is the production company behind the show, which would center on “the emotional sagas behind the most towering legends and unforgettable artists in heavy metal.” In the United States, it will be accessible through Hulu.
Evan Husney and Jason Eisener, the individuals responsible for the production of ‘Dark Side of the Ring,’ are the ones who are producing ‘Into the Void.’ It made its debut in 2019, and it quickly became the most watched series on Vice TV. In addition, they were responsible for producing a documentary series called “Tales from the Territories.”
In an Instagram post, Husney stated, “We both grew up as diehard fans of metal and have always been fascinated by the boundaries between fantasy and reality.” This statement was made from the perspective of both of them. “We are excited to team up with Hulu to look beyond the mystique and show these legends as real people,” said the company. “The sonic worlds created by the genre’s boldest icons are rich with untold history and unimaginable trials and tribulations,” the company said.
Husney stated that the whole list of subjects will be unveiled later in the year 2025, despite the fact that the list of metal luminaries that will be featured in the documentary series has not yet been disclosed on the internet.
