In response to Liam Gallagher’s comment that Coldplay fans are “boring and ugly,” Chris Martin has provided his response

Liam Gallagher has made some statements about Coldplay that are not particularly kind, and Chris Martin, the frontman of the band, has responded to those comments. Once upon a time, the rocker from Oasis remarked that Chris Martin appeared to be a geography instructor. After that, he continued by saying that the people who supported his band were “uninteresting and ugly, and they don’t appear to be having a good time.”

Before that, the two had not collaborated on a song called “Live Forever,” which they sang together at Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester concert in the year 2017. Later on, Gallagher explained his statement by saying, “I take back everything I ever said about you.” Despite this, Martin was unfazed by the earlier statements made by Gallagher. His statement to NME was, “I’ve always loved Liam.” Despite the fact that he is a hot and cold person, he is always available to come over to my house for tea, and we will have lasagna together.

The musician is, in point of fact, thrilled about the upcoming reunion of Oasis. “The reunion demonstrated the essence of what music is all about. Its sole purpose is to bring joy to individuals; it is exclusively for those who desire it. It made me feel pretty good that they made the decision to do that,” he continued.

During his conversation with NME, Martin also discussed the fact that Coldplay is getting close to the conclusion of their time spent writing new music. In a prior statement, he stated that the band intended to release their final album in the year 2025 and intended to complete their collection after releasing eight albums.

After releasing ‘Music of the Spheres’ in 2021, Coldplay has released their tenth studio album, titled ‘Moon Music,’ which was released on October 4th. Martin has indicated that they want to continue to stop at 12 records; however, the deadline of 2025 will be pushed out even more. According to him, “It is definitely going to be twelve albums, but we are going to be a little bit later than that.”

Coldplay made the announcement last week that they will be doing eight stadium gigs in London and Hull in the following year. These will be their last concerts in the United Kingdom and Europe in the year 2025. A charity that helps new artists and music venues in the United Kingdom, the Music Venue Trust, will get ten percent of the proceeds from the sale of tickets, according to the statement.
