Following the release of his peculiar music video, David Lee Roth has released a new song that has silenced critics
Following the release of his peculiar dance video, David Lee Roth responded to the criticism with a new song. The song “Giddy Up” was originally released by the musician in 2020 for his comic book series “The Roth Project,” which consisted of seventeen episodes. Presently, he has made it available on YouTube along with a video in which he can be seen riding a motorcycle.
It appeared that the fans enjoyed it a great deal. Wow, it was incredible! I am really enjoying that song. Someone commented in the comments section, “I am happy to see Dave is out there being himself and making great songs in the quintessential Dave fashion.”
Someone more who was a fan wrote, “What a breathtaking ride!!! Thank you for bringing us along, Dave; you certainly deserve to continue to take pleasure in life! Another individual chimed in, saying, “I love that Dave has always lived his life to the fullest and will continue to do so in the future.” A true original! A GENUINE rock musician!
There was another video that Roth uploaded a few days earlier in which he danced to the song “Balloon” by Busy Signal. He used the same song seven months ago in a sepia-toned routine. This time around, he appears to be paying tribute to New York by dancing in front of displays that display imagery relevant to the city.
A automobile can be seen in the video heading in the direction of Times Square. It includes pictures of famous New York businesses like Katz’s Deli, Umberto’s Clam House, and The Lenox Lounge. ‘Blue Train’ by John Coltrane and ‘Newk’s Time’ by Sonny Rollins are two examples of record covers that are associated with the city or its inhabitants. The video also features tap dancer John W. Bubbles, the first Black dancer at Radio City Music Hall.
Still, fans had mixed opinions on the rocker’s video. A supporter voiced their disapproval by stating, “He needs to stop.” He always does the same old, same old bullsh*t. Even now, he is unable to sing. He needs to get over himself.” Another one defended Diamond Dave, writing, “Let the man do Dave. What’s it to ya? The stage is now HIS. Don’t watch it if you don’t get his vibe.”
‘The Roth Project’ features music by John 5 on guitar and bass, Greg Bissonette on drums, Brett Tuggle on keyboards, and Luis Conte on percussion. Besides ‘Giddy Up,’ the other four songs are ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bar And Grill,’ ‘Alligator Pants,’ ‘Lo-Rez Sunset,’ and ‘Manda Bala.’
