It has been revealed by David Gilmour which songs he will no longer perform

David Gilmour, the guitarist and singer for Pink Floyd, has finally published his new album, titled “Luck & Strange,” and will be going on tour to promote his new work. This comes after he had not released a new record for nine years and also went eight years without touring. Nevertheless, he mentioned that he will not be playing a great deal of Pink Floyd songs from the 1970s. He also informed Mojo of the tunes that we no longer feel comfortable with and that he will not be playing the songs.

It has been revealed by David Gilmour which songs he will no longer perform.
“There are songs from the past that I once felt comfortable singing, but I no longer feel that way. “Run Like Hell” is one of my favorite songs. Despite the fact that I adored the music that I composed for it, all of that made me think, “You’d better run, run, run…” It seems to me that all of that is rather, I don’t know… scary and brutal to a certain extent’

An additional one that I will not be performing is titled “Another Brick in the Wall.” Although I don’t believe I’ve ever done that with my own band, I did end up doing it in the post-Roger Pink Floyd lineup, despite the fact that I knew it was against my better judgment. That is also true for ‘Money’. That is not something I will be doing. The ones that are fundamentally my songs and that I have some ownership over are going to be the ones that I will continue to stick with. There include songs like “Comfortably Numb,” “Wish You Were Here,” and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” among others. According to David Gilmour.

He has a traveling setlist.

In September of last year, he performed his first full show in eight years at the Brighton Centre in Brighton, England. There are a lot of songs from the new albums in the setlist, but there aren’t a lot of songs that are iconic to Pink Floyd.
