The trailer for the long-awaited Netflix sequel dropped on June 25, and no one could have predicted what they’d see: Slim Shady trading insults with Adam Sandler on a golf course. Yes, you read that right — Eminem, in a golf visor, throwing shade (and possibly golf balls) at the legendary Happy Gilmore.
In the trailer, the rap legend appears in what seems to be a comedic disguise, but his energy is unmistakable. At one point, he calls Sandler’s character a “jackass” with his signature deadpan delivery, igniting an argument that feels like a rap battle disguised as a country club meltdown. Sandler himself hyped up the cameo during a recent interview, saying:
“Eminem was cool, he came by, he was great. We just hung out a day and he was funny as hell. He said a million things we can use—and a million things we’re glad we have on tape.”
