X was recently visited by Dee Snider, who shared his ideal lineup for a live band with the audience. In addition to presenting his choices, he made a lighthearted remark regarding the potential impact that their heights could have on the dynamics of their stage performance.

According to what was written in his tweet, “So, in the 1980s, I imagined my ultimate ‘performing’ band.” My lineup would consist of Angus Young, Juan Croucier (Ratt), and Scott Rockenfeld (Queensrÿche) when we were at the height of our abilities. What a fantastic show that is! On the other hand, given that Angus and Juan are not particularly tall, I am concerned that I might accidentally run over them!

Young has been known for a long time for his diminutive physique and the classic schoolboy attire that he wears. These characteristics have been a part of his image ever since the band experienced success in the 1970s. Even though he is only 5 feet 2 inches tall, Maxim magazine referred to him as “The Greatest Short Dude” in the year 2005. Reportedly, the height of the AC/DC guitarist got a lot of attention from women back in the day, as well, although he claims that it was not what people might think.

The majority of the time, he said to Total Guitar in the year 2020, “Oh, I had a few wild nights over the years,” but the most of the time, everyone else was enjoying them for me. “Some women have tried to mother me because of the schoolboy outfit. They believe I’m cute since I’m so short. They think I’m cute because of the uniform. To me, however, playing has always been the most important thing.

In the same year, Young contributed to AC/DC’s ‘Power Up,’ which was the band’s first new album since 2014. Following a lengthy hiatus, the band resumed their touring activities in the beginning of 2024 in order to promote the album. This month, they added a leg to their journey that was slated to take place in North America in the year 2025. From the beginning of April until the end of May, they will perform in both the United States and Canada. As the opening band, The Pretty Reckless will be performing once again.
