‘There’re Levels To This Game!’ Liam Gallagher Slams Oasis Fans for Not Supporting Young Bands

Oasis’ Liam Gallagher has been criticized for not having supporting bands on their tour. He responded to backlash with one social media post. “To all the folk who are crying about us not supporting young bands, there’s LEVELS to this game and I’m afraid 99 percent of ya are way off,” he wrote on X.

Blossoms emerged as a possible Oasis opener. As indicated, no negotiations had occurred. Nothing has been addressed or asked; I don’t suppose they’ll work it out till next year. NME interviewed Blossoms frontman Tom Ogden, who said it was sold out. The supporters don’t need to be announced. Because why not, I hope our name is involved? We’ve never hidden their effect.”

“We watched them at Heaton Park when we were 16, so we know them both. It’s up to them, so I won’t get my hopes up. He continued, “If asked, we’d smash the bags.” An insider told The Sun that Blossoms would open for Oasis, citing their longtime friendship with the Gallagher siblings.

For years, Noel, Liam, and Blossoms have been friends, and since the band is from Manchester, asking them to support Oasis was easy. Blossoms accepted Oasis’ offer to support them at Heaton Park gigs, which will be revealed soon. It’s a déjà vu for Tom Ogden and Joe Donovan, who played their debut show at Oasis at Heaton Park.

It looks that the tour will not have an opening act until further notice.
