At the same time as his daughter Frances Bean is expecting her first child, the late Kurt Cobain becomes a grandfather

During the month of September, Frances Bean Cobain and her husband Riley Hawk became parents for the first time. The birth of her son was announced on Instagram by Courtney Love, who is the sole child of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love.

Under the photographs of the child, she commented, “Welcome to the world, most beautiful son.” She then revealed that his name was Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk. Over and above anything else, we love you.

In the black-and-white photographs that were uploaded to Instagram, there was a picture of Ronin and Frances holding hands, and there was another picture of Riley carrying the infant outside with mountains in the backdrop.

An abundance of comments and well-wishes were received from friends and family members in response to the birth announcement. The joke that “My favorite grandson!” was made by Tony Hawk, Riley’s father and a retired professional skateboarder, is particularly noteworthy.

In response to the tweet, Harper Grohl, whose father Dave Grohl was a bandmate of Kurt Cobain in Nirvana, used emojis that represented a heart and teary eyes.

In the year 2022, Frances Bean made the initial announcement of her relationship with Riley by posting images on Instagram. In October of 2023, the couple tied the knot. In addition to being Frances’ godfather, Michael Stipe, the lead vocalist of R.E.M., presided over the wedding ceremony.
