Tommy Lee Delivers a Message to Young Rock Musicians to ‘Man Up’ and ‘Confront Their Guitarists’

Mötley Crüe’s drummer, Tommy Lee, has conveyed a message on social media directed towards younger rock musicians. The drummer disseminated a segment of an episode from the Disco Acid Cult TV podcast concerning the current condition of rock and roll music.

“Despite the unfortunate nature of Dave Grohl’s infidelity and Perry Farrell’s altercation with his guitarist on stage, someone must take on these roles,” the host states in the film. “Why do the older individuals continue to perform as rock stars?” Why are there no young bands engaging in on-stage altercations, infidelity, or fathering children? This generation must demonstrate greater resilience and maturity. Strike your bandmates on stage. Engage in infidelity with your partner. If one aspires to be a rockstar, it is evident that genuine rock & roll is virtually nonexistent today.

“We have elderly individuals, akin to my grandfather’s generation, endeavoring to uphold the legacy of rock and roll, while the younger generation in Los Angeles frequents food courts at Whole Foods, producing music on MacBooks purchased by their mothers.” Mature significantly. In a manner akin to the recent video, the rocker expressed his views on younger musicians about two decades prior, asserting that they are deficient in certain aspects.

“Great rock ‘n’ roll has consistently been menacing.” The classics—such as Elvis, the Beatles, David Bowie, and the Rolling Stones—each encountered legal issues at various points in their careers. “Several of them even served time in prison,” the drummer stated in an interview with Spiegel. “Currently, there is an increasing number of serious musicians and a diminishing number of authentic rock stars.” I scarcely know any young musicians who genuinely embrace life. In other words, he disclosed that numerous emerging stars lack charisma.

Mötley Crüe will embark on a tour next year titled ‘The Las Vegas Residency,’ commencing on March 28 at Dolby Live and closing on April 19.
