Due to the baby scandal involving Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters have decided to cancel their festival presence

It has been announced that Foo Fighters will not be performing at the Soundside Music Festival in Connecticut, which is scheduled to take place this coming weekend. Dave Grohl recently disclosed that he had become a father outside of his marriage, and this news comes shortly after his announcement.

Beginning this coming Saturday, September 28th, the Soundside Music Festival will be held at Seaside Park in Bridgeport over the course of the festival. Noah Kahan will be the headlining act for the first day of the festival, with Fleet Foxes and Goo Goo Dolls following in his footsteps on the roster. It was planned that Foo Fighters would be the headliners for the second day of the event, which also includes performances by Bleachers and Norah Jones.

Foo Fighters have just announced on social media that they will not be performing at Soundside this weekend. The show was scheduled to take place this weekend. The band Foo Fighters will no longer be performing at the Soundside Music event this coming weekend, according to the statement that they issued. “For further information, please visit the festival website.”

The only live performance that Foo Fighters had scheduled was when they performed at Soundside. In addition to keeping their statement brief and disabling comments on the page, the rock band did not provide any explanation for their choice to cancel the show.

On the other hand, the cancellation comes after it was reported that Dave Grohl, the band’s founder and leader, had a child with a woman who was not his wife, Jordyn Blum.

A statement that said, “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” was posted on the social media platform Instagram by the Foo Fighters singer on September 10th.

He proceeded by saying, “I intend to be a loving and supportive parent to her.” He went on to say, “I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to earn their forgiveness and regain their trust.” We would like to express our appreciation for your thoughtfulness toward all of the children that are engaged as we go forward together.

Despite the fact that Foo Fighters have not disclosed if Grohl’s announcement is connected to the cancelation, the concert would have been Grohl’s first public appearance since he announced the birth of his child earlier this month.

Who will make the transition from Foo Fighters to Soundside?

Following the announcement that Foo Fighters would not be performing at Soundside, the festival made the announcement that there would be two replacement bands for those who had purchased tickets. As a result of the release of his successful new album, No Name, earlier this year, Jack White, who was a member of the White Stripes in the past and now performs as a solo artist, will now perform on Sunday.

Far Out wrote in a review that received four and a half stars, “If it was simply Jack White sounding like good old Jack White, then that would make for a timely rocket to blast a noteworthy wreckage in today’s pixelated musical landscape.” However, the review went on to say that “it’s Jack White in a signature vein that timelessly revitalises the medium of the blues with each stabbing chord—rendering it pretty damn close to the masterpiece the world needs right now.”

In addition, White is not the only musician that Soundside has brought on board to take the place of Foo Fighters with their lineup. Additionally, Greta Van Fleet has become a part of the lineup. During the summer of their previous year, they published their most recent album, which was titled Starcatcher.
