Alicia Taylor Reveals First Details On Corey’s ‘Scary’ Slipknot Mask
Alicia Taylor describes the new Corey Taylor mask. Slipknot unveiled nostalgic looks for their 25th anniversary tour in April, but the frontman has already changed his mask. His ’99-inspired mask now has red LEDs around his eyes.
Alicia posted a snapshot of the new look on X during Knotfest Brasil with the comment “five nights at coreys heyooo,” referencing the Freddy’s video game series.
Alicia elaborated on the mask. A user inquired how the mask’s led lights were produced, and she replied, “Clear round plastic with red lights inside that are placed on the inside part of the eye opening of the mask – you’re close, think like flexible plastic glasses or almost like those suctions for a shower caddy
She also revealed if her hubby could see anything whilst wearing the mask. “Nope! Poor thing walked like a zombie on and off stage. Getting him some anti-fog spray today—a method my children and I use when MIW helmets light up/get foggy. It can be terrifying!”
The South American leg of Slipknot’s tour ends on November 9. After that, they’ll perform across Europe and the UK, starting in Amsterdam on December 5. The band will travel into 2025, beginning with Knotfest Australia in late February and early March. They’ll perform at many European festivals in June 2025.
