Rammstein is the leader among rock bands that have the most influence on tattoos, surpassing both Metallica and Linkin Park

The most popular rock and metal bands that inspire tattoos have been identified, according to a recent study conducted by LLTattoo. For the purpose of this study, search volume data was analyzed to determine the number of individuals who are looking for tattoos that are either inspired by famous rock bands or associated to them.

The band Pink Floyd is at the top of the list, with tattoos associated with the band receiving an average of 13,000 searches per month. Guns N’ Roses comes in second place, with tattoos associated with the band receiving an average of 10,675 searches every single month at this point. In spite of the fact that Pink Floyd and Guns N’ Roses are at the top of the list, Rammstein is in third place, surpassing both Metallica and Linkin Park. In a single month, the band received 10,558 searches.

The band Metallica comes in at number four, with tattoos of the band receiving an average of 9,367 searches every single month. Linkin Park currently holds the sixth spot, with tattoos associated with the band receiving 8,425 searches each and every month. Nirvana comes in at number five on the list, followed by Slipknot at number seven, Twenty One Pilots at number eight, Iron Maiden at number nine, and Tool at number ten among the remaining bands.

LLTattoo’s Mentor Dedaj offered his perspective on the study in this conversation. “It is really interesting to see which rock bands are the most successful in terms of inspiring tattoo pieces all around the world. Ink and rock music are practically linked, and tattoos are nearly a need for people who are considered to be major rock aficionados, he said.

Dedaj continued by saying, “Some of the results are not surprising for us because we have tattooed people in our studio with pieces that were influenced by some of these artists.” However, there are also a few bands that are featured in the top ten that are rather fascinating, and there are also a few bands that, to everyone’s surprise, did not make the list.

Ticketsource carried out a research study that was very comparable to this one the previous year. Research indicates that Pink Floyd is the rock and metal artist who has been the source of inspiration for the greatest number of tattoos. Unsurprisingly, the band holds a prominent position on the list. A total of 30,397 Instagram images displaying Pink Floyd tattoos were discovered by Ticketsource. Rock and metal bands are the most prominent performers in the top ten, with Slipknot coming in third, Nirvana coming in fifth, Iron Maiden coming in sixth, David Bowie coming in ninth, and Metallica coming in tenth.
