As Corey Taylor ranks his most significant rock feuds, Limp Bizkit is the one he considers to be the “best one”

In the most recent episode of Hot Ones Versus, Corey Taylor ranked Limp Bizkit as his favorite rock rivalry. When the singer was asked to rate his feuds with Limp Bizkit, Nickelback, and Machine Gun Kelly from worst to greatest, he responded by saying, “I love that this is coming up as I’m doing all this work on myself.” “If I were to answer with my current self, I would say that a lot of the things that I said were based off of my own ego, my own insecurities, and my own arrogance,” she stated.

Taylor went on to say, “If I were to say that with that ugly ego, I would say that Limp Bizkit would be at the top of the list.” mostly due to the fact that there are a great deal of creative aspects associated with the band that appear and have been investigated. Moreover, my problems were not even with Limp Bizkit’s performance. The explanation continued with Corey saying, “They were with Fred [Durst].” According to the statement, “It was not about the band; it was just about what Fred represented at the time, the things that were being said, and the people in the band who were actually saying things about us.”

Another topic that the rocker discussed was his battle with MGK, saying, “I would put MGK in the middle.” Prior to the beef, I did have respect for him, and I enjoyed listening to many of his songs. Due to the fact that he and Travis Barker invited me to be a part of a song, we had a disagreement, both in terms of our egos and our creative abilities. He and I share a lot of similarities, and I really hope that he is working through his issues because I am aware that he has gone through some difficult times.

Taylor concluded by saying, “I’ll put Nickelback last,” referring to the band Nickelback. Because, in all honesty, they are little more than a melodic echo. The situation is exactly the same.” In the early 2000s, Slipknot and Limp Bizkit were involved in a conflict. The disagreement between them reached a boiling point in February of 2000, following an alleged comment made by Durst in 1999, in which he stated, “Slipknot fans are a bunch of fat, ugly kids.”

Taylor was able to obtain the statement after it immediately disseminated. During the time that they were in Australia promoting their tour, Taylor, along with drummer Joey Jordison and percussionist Shawn Crahan, answered questions from fans. A fan inquired about Limp Bizkit and inquired as to whether or not there was a competition between the two bands.

The response that Corey gave was, “You would have to ask the Limp Bizkit question… In response to that, do you know what I had to say? Prior to uttering the words, “Fred Durst is fat!” he inquired. After that, the vocalist said, “I’m a fat and ugly kid, and Slipknot fans, for the most part, enjoy all kinds of music, maybe even Limp Bizkit.” So what you’re saying is that your followers are also children who are overweight and unattractive? Do you want to talk trash about the individuals who are important to you? We are going to come there, and we are going to kill you!

As time has passed, the relationship between Taylor and Durst has become more amicable. During the year 2011, Taylor made a statement stating that Durst is simply a person. He even took a picture with his children, who were fans of Slipknot. By the year 2016, they were posting selfies together on your Facebook page.
